With our dosing solutions, you get the highest accuracy when dosing masterbatch or additives into the base material.

We offer volumetric and gravimetric dosing for dosing additives into plastic, which is then processed in an injection molding machine or extruder.

When colouring, exactly the same colour shades are obtained.

        Volumetric powder dosing

        Chamber volume dosing via a dosing roller is an uncomplicated solution for the precise dosing of free-flowing powder.

        The special feature of our powder dosing stations is the carrier plate, under which the same bulk density is always present – regardless of whether there is a lot or little powder in the storage container.

        An agitator moves and loosens the free-flowing powder in the station. A forced scraper empties the chambers of the dosing roller at the discharge opening.

        The large Kö 6 dosing station is ideal for dosing large quantities of material. The robust cell wheel not only doses virgin material without any problems, but also free-flowing regrind.

        Coarse-grained granulate or free-flowing regrind is dosed with a Ma station. An agitator supports the robust cell wheel made of V2A stainless steel. This means that even sharp-edged grains are dosed without jamming.

        In combination with a sliding device, quick color and material changes are no problem.

  • KEM direct dyeing

      KEM-TOUCH dosing and colouring device for direct volumetric dosing on injection molding machines or extruders.

       

      Our thousandfold proven KEM direct coloring device is the simplest and yet most effective solution for coloring plastic material with masterbatch.

      KEM devices are installed with a flange directly on the material feed of the processing machine. The raw material flows into the machine via a free inlet, where masterbatch or additives are also added.

      Direct dosing via the chamber volume allows the precise addition of granulates as well as free-flowing powder and regrind.

      When dosing smaller or larger quantities, the dosing rollers can be replaced very easily and quickly.

       

      The KEM-Ma is suitable for dosing large quantities of masterbatch or regrind. The device was installed on a flange with a sliding device to simplify material changes.

       

      This setup is ideal if an antistatic agent or flame retardant needs to be added in addition to masterbatch: two KEM-Touch units on one adapter flange. The main material is conveyed to the machine via the TM conveyor separator

       

      The control unit is integrated into the housing body and offers various programs for use on extruders and injection molding machines.

  • Gravimetric dosing

      As an alternative to the dosing roller, components are dosed into the scale container using sliders. The scale records the actual weight of each component, and its controller compares it with the calculated target value. Weighing is repeated several times for each subsequent container fill, averaging the results.

      As soon as the target weight is reached, the material is emptied into the mixer.

      By combining the opening time of the sliders with volumetric dosing, a dosing accuracy of 4 grains per 1000 can typically be achieved.

        GRAVIKO GK 250

        Patented gravimetric dosing and mixing system from KOCH-TECHNIK.

        Prof. Dr. h.c. Werner Koch with the GRAVIKO has developed a system that allows the user to simplify the gravimetric dosing of material.

        With the GRAVIKO series, you can easily dose and weigh, check, correct and evaluate – in a single work step.

        The control system detects external interferences and compensates for them during weighing. Incorrect dosing is therefore a thing of the past.

        A GRAVIKO GK can be dismantled without tools within two minutes.

        For easy material changeover, the sliding device is replaced by a swivel device for large dosing stations.

         

        Gravimetric dosing process with the patented GRAVIKO:

        • The individual material components, such as virgin material, masterbatch and additives, are dosed into the weighing hopper
        • The ACTUAL weight is registered …
        • … and compared with the TARGET.
        • As soon as the target weight is reached, the material is emptied into the mixer and mixed homogeneously for processing.

        The KOCH modular system: everything fits together, each device can be supplemented with a different module. The simple handling is also fascinating: the conveyor hoods are hinged, material conveyors can be swivelled and sliding and swivelling devices facilitate material changes – without much effort and all without tools.

    • ELBI gravimetry

        The innovative GRAW gravimetric dosing and weighing system doses plastic granules and bulk additives. It is used in injection molding and extrusion processes.

         

         

        By separating the scale from external factors, the GRAW gravimetric system enables highly accurate granulate dosing. The GRAW-100, GRAW-200, GRAW-300, and GRAW-400 series are available. The GRAW-800, a system with the highest capacity, is currently being developed. The GRAW series ensures efficient granulate mixture preparation for processing equipment with capacities ranging from 100 kg/h to 800 kg/h. The device features a touchscreen control panel with a 5.7-inch color screen.

        GRAW series dosing units allow for dosing 3 to 6 components. They can be installed directly on injection molding machines or extruders. They are characterized by the highest dosing accuracy, simple operation, the ability to quickly adapt to new product needs, and easy cleaning of the dispenser’s removable components.
